In case of expected year-round operation, we offer a ready-made solution for the implementation of a pipe system for heating the soil under the rink to protect the base of the rink from freezing and possible deformations.

Depending on the purpose and mode of operation of the ice rink, we are ready to produce various options for the construction of the technological plate of the field.

STATIONARY ICE FIELDS

Technological concrete slab with a system of cooling pipelines. The preferred option for ice palaces, as well as when it is necessary to use the field without ice.

Technological plate with a system of cooling pipelines in sand filling. The preferred option for year-round operation of the ice, as well as for low-budget projects. The energy efficiency is higher than that of concrete slab, and the cost of materials and labor is lower.

Technological plate in sand filling with artificial grass. It is used for seasonal skating rinks (usually open), where in winter the site is operated as an ice rink, and in summer the site is intended for playing football or tennis. The design feature is good drainage for summer operation.

In the construction of pipe systems of ice fields, only special frost-resistant polyethylene pipes with a service life of at least 50 years are used. The pipe system is laid out on the base of the field with a pitch of 75-100mm and mounted on aluminum separators with plastic clamps for even placement over the entire surface of the field. Then it is covered with a reinforcing mesh and poured with concrete, or covered with quartz sand / granite chips. Collectors of the field pipe system and pipelines to the refrigeration machine are made of polyethylene pipes Dn160 according to the three-pipe scheme "Tisherman pressure equalizer". Connections are made by butt welding, flange connections are also used. The field pipes are welded into the pipe manifolds through special welded saddles 160/25. All connections of the pipe system of the field are only welded (socket welding and butt welding).

There is a sliding layer under the cooling plate, thermal insulation from heat inflows from the ground, waterproofing. The soil heating system is piped with redundancy and the possibility of inspection and temperature control for each soil heating pipe. The heat carrier in the ground heating system is 40% ethylene glycol.

MOBILE AND QUICK MOUNTING FIELDS

Pipe mats. (Ice - mats, ice - mats) Designed specifically for large fields (from 30m and more). The pipe system consists of polymer pipes or EPDM pipes with a diameter of 8-16 mm, interconnected in strips of 6-10 pipes. Easily rolls out on any flat hard surface (concrete, asphalt or wood deck) and connects to chiller. Ice is frozen over the tubes.

It is the preferred option for temporary ice building on any hard flat surface in a short time (mounting and dismantling within 1-2 days). The high cost of the pipe system is offset by the low cost of construction preparatory work.

If it is necessary to stop operation or transport the ice rink, after defrosting the field, the disconnected collectors are closed with covers and the mats are rolled together with the coolant onto special galvanized coils and removed for storage.
